Joshua Comp studies social work education and biological social work. Additional areas of research interest include critical feminist theory, philosophy of science, and validity and reliability studies.
Joshua has several years of professional experience in the areas of domestic violence, HIV medical-mental health, integrated primary care behavioral health (PCBH), dental-behavioral health, substance use treatment, residential treatment, and individual/family/group psychotherapy. As a future instructor, writer, and researcher, he hopes to collaborate in further development of social work theories and methods that engender systemic change and expand the lived values of social justice, dignity, worth, and integrity.
